For a change from my usual work, I decided to venture across the Atlantic and draw some Scottish boats. Here (from left to right) is True Vine, a 71′ Fifie; Mary Ann, a 24′ Moray Firth Scaffie; and Muirneag, an 80′ Zulu. This is a sneak preview of drawings which will help illustrate an upcoming article by Bruce Stannard about Fifies in the January/February issue of WoodenBoat.
