The Great South Bay Proposal is a 35′7″ x 9′4″ cabin daysailer designed by N.G. Herreshoff as a proposal in 1927 and was never built. Herreshoff occasionally used concave stem profiles like this in lieu of bowsprits as a means of extending the sailplan farther forward. Otherwise, in hull shape, she’s much like the lovely Buzzards Bay 25.
